Cellular Shades

Today's privacy treatments offer grace, light control, style and insulation. For example, the Cellular Shades is a honeycombed, pleated shade that is delicate in appearance, but stronger then a pleated shade. These particular shades are usually constructed of two pleated fabric layers that trap air, giving the window extra insulation, which will help cut down heating and air conditioning bills.

Cellular Shades come in a wide variety of colors with no cords or seams. The can be drawn from the top down, and the bottom up! When drawn the pleats stack neatly out of the way of the window, so a beautifully designed top treatment will completely hide the shades.

Cellular Shade fabrics are usually made of a polyester material, giving them a soft, elegant look. The material is durable and mildew resistent, so it's great to use in high moisture areas like bathroom and kitchens. Cellular Shades don't show dust and require little or no cleaning. However, if they do become soiled, soapy water may be used to clean the shades.
