FRESHEN UP YOUR FIREPLACE: Why not add masses of
greenery and summer flowers to that dark and uninviting fireplace.
A sure way to brighten up your fireplace for spring and summer.
READY - SET - REACCESSORIZE: Clear off your table
tops and begin anew! Try adding some old books to your new tablescape.
Place small pictures on easels; display art objects on glass cube
pedestals. And remember tabletop accessories should always be grouped
in odd number arrangements for more visual interest.
LAMPSHADE MAKEOVERS: Tired of your "nice"
ivory colored, pleated lampshades? Go for the bold look of black
or dramatically colorful lampshades. And while youre at it, replace
your finials with brass pineapples or crystal orbs.
HEADY HEADBOARDS: Need a new headboard? Hang a
natural wood pole and bracket set over your bed. Then affix colorful
fabric bows to 4 of your favorite photos or pictures. Hang your
